Quran-Based Education and Curriculum Development

Background: Spirituality is the lost gem of humanity. The aim of this article is introducing Quranic education, requirements and strategies in development of curriculum planning.
Methods: This article has been prepared with a qualitative approach and by content analysis of documents and religious scientific sources.
Results: In addition to explaining the words of Quranic spirituality, spiritual education, spiritual curriculum and extracurricular spirituality, the steps and requirements of developing curriculum content and learner evaluation and the role of educational environment and family have been discussed.
Conclusion: If all areas and dimensions of spiritual education and educators also have a spiritual spirit as a result of correct and God-centered education, spirituality will develop in students. In this situation, school curricula strengthen their spiritual aspect and raise students to be reality-oriented spiritualists.
