Note: If the research and preparation of the article were conducted using the institution's research budget, the name of the institution and the project registration number should be included at the end of the article. Additionally, written permission from the relevant institution for the publication of the article in the Scientific-Research Quarterly of the Academy of Medical Sciences must be submitted as an attachment.
Note: Review articles and systematic reviews are accepted only from experienced researchers who are proficient in the relevant subjects and have published works in those fields, provided that no review article has been published in that field in the past three years.

Organizing the Various Sections of the Article
The following order should be followed when organizing and writing the various sections of the submitted articles:
Title Page
The title page is standardized across all types of articles and must be written in both Persian and English. It should include the following elements: the full title of the article in both Persian and English, the names and surnames of all authors, their academic ranks and positions, the university and/or department or institute affiliation, the name and address of the workplace, as well as the email address, telephone number, and fax number of the corresponding author for contact purposes. Additionally, a declaration of any potential conflicts of interest must be included.
Conditions for Selecting the Article Title
The article title should be unique and not previously published by another author in the journal's language or any other language. It should accurately describe the study while avoiding the use of formulas and abbreviations. The title must include the primary variables of the research and refrain from including unnecessary words.
Criteria for Selecting the Short Title of an Article
The article's short title is used during page layout and for categorizing the article; it should be a maximum of 18 characters.

Types of Articles
Original articles are given priority for publication and may contain a maximum of 3,500 words and up to 8 images or tables. Each original article must cite no more than 30 sources. In all types of articles, the word count includes only the main text. Consequently, it does not encompass the Persian and English titles, authors' names, Persian and English abstracts, graphs, tables, figures, acknowledgments, conflicts of interest, or references.
Review Articles: In this type of article, the author must possess a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. It is essential for the article to contain a maximum of 5,000 words. A minimum of 30 and a maximum of 45 sources must be cited, with at least three sources originating from the author's own research activities related to the topic. Review articles are categorized into narrative, systematic, and meta-analysis reviews.
Short Communication: This type of article shares a similar structure with original research articles, with the key distinction being that the study findings are more limited. These articles are restricted to a maximum of 2,500 words and may reference up to 15 sources.
Letter to the Editor or Editorial: This type of correspondence involves the expression of opinions and critiques regarding current scientific issues or specific scientific articles. Typically, such letters do not include an abstract, tables, or graphs, and they are limited to a maximum of 1,500 words, citing no more than five sources.
Perspective/Opinion Article: In Perspective articles, an individual's scientific viewpoint is expressed regarding a concept or idea within a specific field. In Opinion articles, the author interprets and analyzes a topic or proposes a specific methodology. These articles have a maximum word count of 2,000.
Conceptual Paper: These papers connect existing theories with methodologies; in fact, they serve as a bridge between disciplines and ultimately provide insights across multiple levels and theoretical domains. Each article has a maximum word count of 5,000.

Articles’ Structure
Structure of the Original Article:
The original article features a title in both Persian and English, along with an abstract and keywords presented in both languages. The full text of the article comprises an introduction, methods, findings, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments, conflicts of interest, and a list of references.
Abstract: All articles must include both a Persian and an English abstract, each consisting of up to 250 words. The abstracts should be structured with distinct headings: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. The summary should accurately reflect the content of the entire article. At the end of the Persian abstract, three to ten keywords should be provided, which should also appear in the title and abstract of the article.
Introduction: The introduction should provide the background, significance, and objectives of the research. It must summarize previous studies and observations relevant to the research topic, highlighting the gaps in knowledge that this study aims to address. Relevant sources should be cited to support the discussion. The introduction is limited to a maximum of 700 words.
Methods: This section should accurately and comprehensively describe the type of study, working methods, experimental design, and observations made. It should be detailed enough for any reader to replicate the author's experience by reviewing the information provided. If consumable materials are utilized, their full names and manufacturers must be included in parentheses. When previously established methods are employed, it is essential to cite the relevant references. In instances where new methods are introduced, sufficient information must be provided to enable others to implement them if necessary. If a specific drug is used, the generic name, dosage, and administration instructions should be clearly stated. Additionally, the names of statistical tests and software programs employed in the research are mandatory. This section must also include a thorough description of the study samples and their demographic characteristics, the selection process for the samples, the method of information collection (e.g., questionnaire), laboratory methods and equipment used (including consumption methods and manufacturers), as well as the statistical methods applied in the study, including entry and exit criteria. The exact name of the questionnaire, along with its reliability and validity, should be documented. In summary, the study method encompasses the following components: 1. Time and location of research implementation 2. Subjects and samples to be tested, including selection criteria, sampling method, and rationale for sample size (this aspect is particularly important and is scrutinized at the outset) 3. Method of data collection 4. Adherence to ethical standards in research 5. Measurement tools 6. Statistical tests.

Results: The findings of the research should be presented as a combination of text, tables, and graphs or figures. The content of tables and graphs should not be fully repeated in the text; it is sufficient to reference the corresponding table or graph number. Tables and graphs should be formatted in Word. In lengthy articles, for enhanced clarity, the content may be summarized under subheadings in the results and discussion sections.
Discussion and Conclusion: This section should highlight the findings of the current study and compare them with the results of other similar research. Rather than reiterating the details of the findings, it is sufficient to emphasize the novel and significant aspects of the study and draw conclusions based on these findings. It is essential to indicate whether the results of the study sufficiently support the hypothesis or hypotheses proposed, or if further research is necessary. A comprehensive conclusion should be provided at the end of this section, addressing the major challenges and limitations of the study, as well as its strengths.
Acknowledgements: All individuals who contributed to this study but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged in this section. This includes those who contributed to the methodology or writing of the article, as well as those who provided financial or scientific support for the research. If the research was conducted using funds from an institution or university, the name of that institution or university should be mentioned, along with the project registration number, at the end of the article.
References: All references must be written in English. Bibliographic information for sources published in Persian should be translated into English, with the phrase [in Persian] added at the end. All sources cited in the study should be numbered in the text and organized according to the Vancouver referencing style.

Review Article Structure:
A review article can be classified into one of three types: narrative, systematic, or meta-analysis. It must be comprehensive and thorough, utilizing a minimum of 30 credible sources and a maximum of 45, with at least three sources authored by the writer themselves. The essential components of this type of article include a title in both Persian and English, an abstract, and keywords in both languages. The full text should consist of an introduction, methods, findings, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgments, conflict of interest statement, and a list of references. It is insufficient to merely summarize and report the findings of others; the article must also present new theories and conclusions. The abstract of these review articles serves as a concise summary of the study. At the end of the Persian abstract, three to ten keywords should be provided, which should also appear in the title and abstract of the article.

Erratum Publication
When a significant error occurs during the review, printing, or publication process and remains undisclosed to the authors, the journal will publish a corrected version in the earliest possible issue after the error is detected.
Peer Review Steps:
Articles are initially evaluated by the editor. Following this, internal statisticians and screeners assess the articles for any methodological flaws, formatting issues, and compliance with the journal's guidelines. When submitting an article through the journal's website, a unique code is assigned to the article, and all subsequent correspondence must reference this code. Through a double-anonymized peer review process, each article is evaluated by at least two external reviewers (peers). The comments are sent to the corresponding author, who then provides responses to these comments. These responses, along with the reviewers' comments, are evaluated by the editor, deputy editor, and the final reviewer, who may be a member of the editorial board. The final review process will be discussed at regular meetings of the Editorial Board. Based on the opinions expressed and the thematic scope of the journal, the editors will determine which articles should be published. Once the articles are finalized, they will be published in the order of their preparation. The journal will not be held responsible for any claims made between authors or regarding references from other sources. According to the guidelines outlined in the article, the author is responsible for citing the names of all contributors. The journal reserves the right to accept or reject articles and also retains the authority to make scientific and literary edits, as well as to summarize the articles. A proof copy will be sent to the corresponding author prior to publication.
