Background:Honesty represents the most comprehensive moral trait, yielding numerous familial impacts. This study aimed to develop a model for the “transcendent family” by emphasizing “authentic living” (honesty-based life) grounded in Hadith teachings. Utilizing a psychological approach, the research sought to provide the necessary theoretical knowledge to enhance authentic living, spiritual well-being, and mental health within families. Methods: This study employed a qualitative-developmental approach, utilizing inductive and theme-based content analysis of Hadiths. Results: The research findings led to the extraction of 7 main components and 48 sub-components within the honesty variable, resulting in the design of a conceptual model for honest living. This study provides codified theoretical knowledge regarding the structural components of honesty and establishes a theoretical foundation for developing educational and upbringing programs in the field of family ethics. The results offer a comprehensive framework for intra-familial honesty, strengthening the bond between morality and human relationships. Conclusion: The findings indicate that implementing the teachings of this model can facilitate honest living within families and yield positive psychological and ethical outcomes, such as enhancing affection, intimacy, trust, commitment, and the spiritual and mental health of the family. This model can serve as a fundamental framework for educational activities.
