Strategies for Promotion of the Mental Health of Iranians

Studies show mental disorders constitute approximately 12% of burden of disease in Iranian society. A meeting was held in the Academy of Medical Sciences with the presence of mental health experts and officials of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, taking into account the background factors that affect mental health and the current conditions of the society and strategies and suggestions for improving the mental health of the community were presented. |
