Intelligent Communication and Information Management Systems in the Health System of Iran

Background: Accurate and timely access to information is of prime importance for decision making in all organizations. This is especially important in the health system, where human life depends on accuracy and speed. The efficacy of intelligent information systems, and its evolution and integration are essential for information and communication management. The purpose of this study was to assess the impact and use of information technology systems in intelligent health system management.
Methods: This review used data collection, from extensive internet searches, reputable publications indexed in PubMed, SID, Scopus, and Google Scholar search engines in Persian and English; keywords for technology, health information, smart systems, and Technology, were used; 34 research related articles were selected.
Results: This study showed that with the development and use, of information and communication technology in the healthcare sector a great change in rendering health service occurs. Patient information storage systems, drug information, treatment and surgery, delivery system robots, patient admission, etc. are among the changes in the health system that have facilitated treatment. .
Conclusion: According to the present study, policy makers and health care providers should focus on the use of information systems to obtain timely and accurate information; and its use and rapid dissemination with the aim of prevention and tiley treatment. |
