| This policy summary presents essential and practical strategies relevant to COVID-19 outbreak and includes four sections namely. 1- confronting the coronavirus epidemic (identifying the most effective activities at the community level, designing evidence based diagnostic and treatment guidelines, minimizing socio-economic adverse effects, promoting spiritual health of community etc.) 2- professional and immediate executive priorities (improving outpatient and inpatient care standardizing and expressing diagnostic procedures, designing clinical and paraclinical guidelines) 3- Recommendations for confronting the epidemic (unified command and public coordination of management, health education) scientific and research recommendations (prevention priority at all levels for policymakers, structural, executive, educational, research etc.) |
