Abstract:   (3484 Views)
Background: Inspired by the statement we aimed to draw palpable policy options for the health system in order to implement the recommendations of the Supreme Leader.
Methods: After analyzing the qualitative content of the statement and identifying the applications of the topics in the health system, we conducted interviews with experts. Finally, the policy options for thr health system were provided in each of the components of the statement and were finalized using a combination of Delphi and Fuzzy TOPSIS methods.
Results: According to the experts, "Empowering researcher and policymaker"; "Media campaigns to increase public awareness of medical professional ethics"; "expanding primary healthcare and referal system"; "Fighting the monopoly of production, distribution and provision of medicine, medical equipment and health services"; "Entrepreneurship in the field of health and resistance economy"; "Mmonitoring and planning the effects of economic sanctions on health"; and "Informing families regarding the importance of healthy lifestyle in childhood " are of the highest priorities to institutionalize each dimensions of the statement in health policies of Iran.
Conclusion: Despite commendable efforts and significant progress in the health system of Iran, achieving comprehensive excellence in the second step of the Islamic Revolution requires more efforts by health policymakers to formulate health policies on the basis of a good governance approach. Our findings might pave the way, we envisage, towards achieving an optimal health system in the post-fortieth of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
