Background: The health of an individual has several dimensions, andeach has a direct relationship to one another. Our lifestyle is influenced by several elements, namely our thinking style and habits. The first step in changing our lifestyle is modification of our thinking style. Methods: We used a series of focus group discussions that were conducted with individuals in 32 sessions lasting 90 minutes each. In each session, at least 13 people were present, but not more than 25. It took place at the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The sessions were recorded by the moderator and his or her peers as well as by an audio recorder. After analyzing the content of the recordings, a Content Analysis was used to analyze the text for themes and patterns. Results: After reaching the initial codes, the themes and topics were determined and identified through content analysis. This study had 4 main themes, including health, culture, spirituality, and thinking. Conclusion: The interplay between institutionalized thinking and the individual’s problem-solving skills has been shown to be the driving force behind community health. Therefore, it is imperative for the government and educators to create programs that support critical thinking and problem-solving skills among the community members. Such programs directly affect individuals' lifestyles and ultimately improve their physical and mental health.
