Abstract
Background: Formation of a comprehensive and exhaustive theory of spiritual health demands convergenceand collaboration amongst several disciplines of Islamic theology and formation of an interdisciplinary collaboration. In macro-level Islamic theory, spirituality is a clearly-defined and well- documentedconcept formed on a solid philosophical and logical foundation based on deduction and clear reasoning whichis quite different from emotional spirituality.
Results: According to different definitions based on a wide range of criteria, spiritual health is comprised of metaphysical, mental, and social dimensions and is both humane and supernatural (multi- dimensional). Spiritual health is comprehensive, inclusive, and well-structured, and is considered as in line with other dimensions of humanity with both internal and external presentations. It is noteworthy, however, that its presentation and embodiment which is integral to Islamic culture, has different levels and layers, and is considered as an acquired and voluntary accomplishment attainable by free will.
Conclusion: In this essay, besides introduction of ten criteria of the abovementioned indicators of spiritual health, an analysis of the plights of spiritualism-related perils is also discussed.

Abstract
Background: Since formation of the secularism movement in the West, several ideologies, viewpoints, and. has been encroached on the traditional values of Islamic countries, some of them challenging the traditional Islamic values. The objective of this essay is a critical analysis of the term "spiritual health" which has been introduced to the Iranian academic and medical literature in the recent decade. The main focus of this article is an analysis of the meaning and connotations of this new terminology and its relationship with Islamic values. We shall conclude by discussing three rationales for prudence of adjoining the adjective "Islamic" to the combination "spiritual health" in Iranian academic literature.
Methods: In this series of studies, an analytic-descriptive methodology is employed and the concept is discussed and critically analyzed through definitions of spirituality and spiritual health.
Results: It can be argued that the term "spirituality" in both Western and Persian literature has a secularism connotation and may be used in conjunction with the adjective: "secular". Moreover, the combination of "spiritual health" seems rather ambiguous and is most likely to be used in a secularist context.
Conclusion: Abstract terminology can form a breeding ground for development of certain ideologiesand a carrier for ideological beliefs and cultural values of those who introduce them. Therefore, using the combination "Islamic Spiritual Health" is proposed for safeguarding against misinterpretation and preservation of our cultural and literal autonomy, and resistance to passivism towards the Western secular ideology

Abstract
Background and Aim: Spiritual Health is defined as one of the dimensions of health by the World Health Organization and perhaps the most important of them, along with the physical, social and mental dimensions. This article describes spiritual health from the perspective of one of the late professors of science and ethics Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Esfahani (1945-2017).
Results: In non-divine schools of thought , man is a creature with a bio-psycho-social identity, which necessarily does not imply belief in God, the supernatural or life after death. However the goal of a healthy life is to provide physical, psychological, social and material needs; and all things, even their defined spirituality, are for life only in the material world; but divine schools of thought also consider for the next world as well in other words , the provision of spiritual needs and the movement towards excellence through the proper utilization of physical, psychological social well-being and the enhancement of the quality of life
Conclusion: In the divine schools of thought, man is a divine, responsible, purposeful creation, fashioned to perfection, who is a believer of life after death and follows the prophets of the Lord and has spiritual, physical, psychological and social identity.

Abstract
Background and objective:
Although self-recognition and spiritual health are different fields with different study methodology, the study ofthe interaction between self-recognition and Islamic spiritual health is considered one of the most important fields ofboth piritual and psychological health in Islam. A thorough research into the existing body of literature demonstrates that (possibly due to the reluctance of the West to study in the field of self-recognition) little is documentedin this regard. However the sparse available vidence clearly demonstrates that those who pursue self-recognition enjoy better spiritual health, acquire a wide range of spiritual accomplishments, and evelop a divine character. To our knowledge, the current study is one of the first studies designed and carried out with the main objective of illustration of the relationship between self-recognition and spiritual health. In this literature review study, a clear picture of the interactions between self-recognition and spiritual health is depicted; and, in the end, the authors conclude that spiritual health and self-recognition are closely related and complementary to each other, and, self-recognition generally leads to better spiritual health and spiritual accomplishments.

Abstract
Background and aim: The pure life or “Hayat Tayyabeh”is a spiritual subject and a genuine Quranic term explained in the religious culture of Islam; this genuine term may be known to be synonymous with the contemporary term “ spiritual health” in the Persian language literature. Allah the exalted and most high has stated in the holy Quran that "Any man or woman who doth a righteous deed provided they have faith in God shall be granted a blessed and eternal prosperous life; and God shall grant them a reward much better than the righteous deed they did. " A life pure and enjoyable is God’s gift to those with faith and righteous deeds and not for the pagans , hypocrites or polytheists.
People may be divided into 3 main groups namely a group which confine life to nature and matter and deny the creator of the world; another group that despite believing weakly in God confine the material life to nature and matter and do not really believe in resurrection. The 3rd group comprise those who have faith and believe in origination and resurrection and accounting of deeds on the Day of Judgment. The belief of people has an effect on their worldly life. In this paper the path to the pure life with its special Quranic attributes is presented along with its reliance upon the lifestyle advocated by Islam. In this context the pure life which is virtually Islamic spiritual health in the worldly life and achieving perfection and eternal prosperity is attainable by following the ordainments of the holy Quran and the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) and his infallible household; then eternal prosperity is guaranteed.

Abstract
Background: Spiritual health is a relatively new topic in the world, especially in Islamic countries. This article explains the basics of “spiritual health” based on Islamic teachings; we evaluated it in three parts: 1) Definition of spiritual health. 2) Essential questions regarding spiritual health. and 3) Spiritual health in the Quran.
Methods: This study was performed using the Holy Quran and Islamic literature.
Results: The scientific literature on this subject is very poor and sometimes eclectic, thus discussions are not well understood, and there are many key concepts in this field poorly understood. The contemporary definition of spiritual health has important philosophical and religious parameters for research. These questions begin with the basics of this topic and continue to more elaborate details. The Holy Quran is the highest and most important source of Islamic cognition, which relates to information regarding spiritual health, and should be reviewed systematically. The Quranic interpretation of the "the pure heart" is the closest expression to spiritual health; phrases with opposite meanings can be interpreted (in the Quran) as "the diseased heart", and some of important aspects and indicators of spiritual health can be identified with this method.
Conclusion: Spiritual health is: "The elated sublime status of the individual in the society and liberation from materialism under divine teaching and has four dimensions namely insight, attitude, behavior and action which are assessed in line with the teachings of the Holy Quran."

Abstract
Background: Today, the world is in dire need of spiritual health due to experiencing the most stressful period of times. Spiritual health in Islamic culture, has a special definition and special principles. One of the most important principles is the anthropological basis, which can be analyzed and interpreted in several ways. In this study, the basis of spiritual health with the approach of Islamic mysticism is discussed.
Methods: This article has been compiled by reviewing the Holy Quran and Islamic religious references.
Results: One of the analyzes in the context of spiritual health is religious-mystical anthropology, which pays attention to two areas: The first describes the human health and pathogenic forces that are activated against stimuli and events, and the second explains the source of positive human conditions and negative disorders when faced with problems and the coordinating base of human resources. This research deals with both areas, and a systematic explanation of both areas is done for the first time in this article in order to pave the way for researchers in this field. With regard to the first area, human's identity is his heart, which encompasses all aspects of his existence, perceptual, behavioral, and moral powers, and has two aspects, carnal and spiritual. As for the second area, beliefs and actions interact in four ways: the effect of beliefs on physical and external actions; The effect of heart and internal actions on physical actions, the effect of physical actions on mind actions and the effect of external and internal actions on beliefs. Of course, the method of this research is narrative-mystical.
Conclusion: Human can achieve spiritual health, after recognizing the carnal and spiritual aspects and the six layers of nature, soul, intellect, heart, soul, and powers of intellect and ignorance, to arrange the demands of each in the divine direction. Also, human corrects his beliefs and behaviors based on intellect and religion, and is able to adjust the way he deals with problems based on those beliefs and behaviors in order to ensure his spiritual health.
