Abstract

Background and Aim: Article 8 of  the General Health Policy Document   refers to promotion and improvement of  quality and safety of justice-focused services, emphasizes accountability and transparent information, effectiveness, efficiency and productivity  of health networks in accordance with the system of ranking and referral. The purpose of this study was to determine the most important indicators and interventions that can be done.
Methods: This study was conducted using descriptive and qualitative methods. In order to extract the indicies, texts and documents were reviewed and interviews and expert meetings were used to determine the interventions. The data were analyzed using the framework analysis with consideration of the health system framework.
Results: This study extracted five main indicators relating to Article 8 of the General Health Policy. Then, for the implementation of this article, 19 interventions in the resource production, payment, organizing rules and regulations and behavior were proposed.
Conclusion: Article 8 of the General Health Policy focuses on two categories of quality and safety of comprehensive health services. In order to improve the quality and safety of services which two important sources namely, health policymakers and managers are required to make a continuous effort for planning using the indicators and interventions mentioned.

Abstract

Background: The healthcare system, being one of the most crucial and delicate domains in any society, is constantly undergoing continuous evolution and advancement. Rapid developments in technology, social and economic changes, evolving societal needs, and other factors pose new and unprecedented challenges to the healthcare system. For the success of the healthcare system, it is essential for managers to accurately comprehend these transformations and implement suitable strategies to tackle the challenges and capitalize on the opportunities within the healthcare system.
Methods: Scientific and research sources were utilized to examine the challenges and solutions in managing healthcare system transformations. By studying abstracts and selecting appropriate articles, data pertaining to health objectives and strategies, resistance to change, financial resource shortages, information and data management, organizational and institutional coordination, performance evaluation, and healthcare transformation were extracted. Successes, challenges, strategies, and the significance of managing transformation in healthcare systems were examined via data analysis.
Results: Necessary actions required to enhance the quality of healthcare provision, foster the development of information and communication technologies, strengthen coordination amongst healthcare entities, prioritize education and training of the workforce, engage in meticulous financial planning, and successful strategies in managing transformation as effective solutions to confront the challenges of managing transformation within the healthcare system. By executing these strategies, the quality of healthcare services can be improved, patient satisfaction can be increased, and treatment outcomes can be enhanced.
Conclusion: By providing a comprehensive analysis of the challenges and solutions of transformation management in the health system, this article helps managers and experts in the field of health to implement appropriate strategies to improve the quality of health services and patient satisfaction.
