Abstract: (3869 Views) |
Spiritual Health is defined as one of the dimensions of health by the World Health Organization and perhaps the most important of them, along with the physical, social and mental dimensions. This article describes spiritual health from the perspective of one of the late professors of science and ethics Dr. Mohammad Mehdi Esfahani(2017-1945) . In non-divine schools of thought , man is a creature with a bio-psycho-social identity, which necessarily does not imply belief in God, the supernatural or life after death. However the goal of a healthy life is to provide physical, psychological, social and material needs; and all things, even their defined spirituality, are for life only in the material world; but divine schools of thought also consider for the next world as well in other words , the provision of spiritual needs and the movement towards excellence through the proper utilization of physical, psychological social well-being and the enhancement of the quality of life. In the divine schools of thought, man is a divine, responsible, purposeful creation, fashioned to perfection, who is a believer of life after death and follows the prophets of the Lord and has spiritual, physical, psychological and social identity.
