Implementing “The Second Phase” Policy of the Islamic Revolution: Suggestions of the Supreme Leader on Healthcare

| On the first anniversary of the issuance of the “Second Phase” statement of the Islamic Revolution, the Academy of Medical Sciences presented the first analytical report with the approach for implementing the related issues in healthcare. In this policy summary, five executive priorities for transformation of the healthcare system are presented in six selected priority topics namely: 1- Transformation and improvement in health sciences, research and technology, 2- Ethics and spirituality in health and its role in promoting spirituality, ethics and culture of the society 3- Transformation and development of Jihadi management in health 4- Required developments in resilient health economics, 5- Health equity and the necessity for a comprehensive undertaking against manifestations and corruption in healthcare and 6- A Health-oriented lifestyle. |
