The Realization of Scientific Authority a Key Approach to Self-Development, Society and Promoting Civilization

Background: Iran needs a comprehensive movement to achieve the goal of the Islamic Revolution, which is the formation of a new Islamic civilization. This study attempts to explain how to achieve this goal. Being a scientific authority as a key approach and a powerful tool in the light of the Quran and Islamic traditions can lead to Self-Development promolting society and building on Islamic civilization. This article discusses the fundamental interplay that can place universities and seminaries in a structured framework to achieve the goal of scientific authority.
Methods: A literature review was undertaken through documenting, library review, recording experiences of experts, and using available scientific resources.
Results: The cycle of human existential structure examines human perceptions (including sense, imagination, illusion, and reason) and action. The gained knowledge can lead man to grow or fall. Thinking is the main tool of research, discoveries, inventions, etc. If the thinking based on the understanding of Islam, the principles of our nature, and the light of faith, then the gained knowledge can grow a man. This directly related to the self-knowledge of scholars. Based on the human existential structure, the gained knowledge will transfer into the human actions, which consequently socialized and will be important in the formation of the Islamic civilization.
Conclusion: Scientific authority is an important approach and tool that can pursuit high goals of the Islamic revolution, which are set out in the second phase of the revolution statement. Achievement of scientific authority can be a great help to self-development, society-processing, and civilization-building. Quranic/religious think-tanks and scientific/research centers of Iran, through close cooperation and interaction based on the human existential structure, can train scholars to help the realization of attaining scientific authority.
