Abstract:   (463 Views)
The integration of medical education with the former Ministry of Health, which led to the establishment of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education, was carried out with the aim of providing qualified human resources and enhancing the quality and quantity of health services. This integration has yielded remarkable outcomes, particularly in expanding student admission capacity, developing universities, improving public access to health services, and advancing community health indicators. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, the resolution of which could further increase the effectiveness of this policy and enhance both health education and service delivery. This study identifies these challenges—based on evidence and stakeholders’ perspectives—and proposes practical strategies to address them.
