Improving PhD Program in Nutrition Sciences in Iran, Considering Current Needs and Perspectives

Today, nutritional sciences is considered as one of the subjects and main tools in prevention and treatment of diseases, as well as national development. Therefore, proper planning in training local specialists in this field with the needed specialties is a priority. Considering weaknesses identified in the current training program in Iran, this policy brief aims to provide strategies to improve and redirect this PhD program in the country.
